We are looking for a locally based, reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our friendly kitchen team at The Mixing Shed Cafe.

This is a fast paced role where you'll play an important part in keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly.

Where we're looking for:
☑️ Positive attitude and work well as a team
☑️ Good time management and organisational skills
☑️ Work efficiently in a busy environment
☑️ Reliable and punctual
☑️ Previous kitchen experience ideal
☑️ Regular weekend availability essential

What we offer:
☑️ Regular weekend shifts (plus weekdays if available)
☑️ Friendly and supportive environment
☑️ Opportunity to gain experience in a busy cafe kitchen

Life on the farm update 🌾

A few dry days has meant the farmers have been able to get fertiliser onto the wheat fields

At this stage of growth, fertiliser helps to strengthen the crops, supports healthy development and gives the wheat the nutrients it needs for the months ahead.

Timing is everything - the ground has to be dry enough for the machinery to operate without damaging the soil , which is very important in maintaining the health of the land.
